Remembering loved ones who have died

Remembering

In the Christian calendar, November is a month of remembrance. As well as Remembrance Day, the Church keeps All Saints Day and All Souls Day.
On All Souls Day the focus is on those we love who have died; those who were close to us who we continue to miss and for whom we grieve.
This year we have special services in two churches on the following dates:

St. Martin's Church, Owston Ferry on Saturday 2nd November at 7 p.m.

St. Oswald's Church, Crowle on Sunday 3rd November at 4 p.m.

These services will involve prayers and readings, as well as remembering some of our dead by name, and the lighting of candles. There will also be a time of silence.

There will be a list by the door as you come in if you would like to remember by name anyone who has died. If you cannot attend but would still like a name read out, then please complete the form below.
