Annual Parochial Church Meetings
Every parish
must hold (no later than 31st of May in each year) an annual
parochial church meeting, often referred to simply as the 'APCM'.
This annual meeting, which is open to all, reports on changes to the electoral roll, parish activities and financial matters.
The main purposes are:
· An Annual Report of the proceedings of the parochial church council and the activities of the parish generally.
· A review of the Church Electoral Roll. This year, 2025, the roll will be completely re-written, as it is every six years.
· The Financial Statements of the Council for the year ending on the 31st of December immediately preceding the meeting, audited or independently examined.
· A Report on the fabric, goods and ornaments of the church or churches of the parish.
· A Report on the proceedings of the Deanery Synod; and other matters of parochial or general Church interest.

Sunday 18th May, 11 a.m. - 1 p.m. in Church. This will be a combined service of Holy Communion and meeting to include a ministry and mission review and planning for the future. |
St. Martin’s Church, Owston Ferry
